Default difference in flavor steeping or not?

Hello, i just recieved my BB and GJ in the mail, well first impressions are really good, but the gorilla juice tastes pretty much the same as the BB, will i be able to taste the banana if i let it steep? im using a 2.5 ohm cartomizer in a mom and pop tank, at around 4.1 v on provari v2 mod.

Really? You can't taste the banana? I don't steep juices really if I can't wait to try them. I immediately tasted a difference. And the banana was it!

My taste buds are kind of fickle with the GJ. Don't get me wrong, it's one of my all-time favorite juices, but some days I just don't taste much banana and others it's full on in your face. This is throughout the same bottle, too, and well shaken up before use as well. I've added a little extra to mine on those banana-less days by mixing it with some Banana Slurry

I would suggest looking into your hardware, voltage and device are pretty big contributors to taste along with the juice itself. You can knock out a sweet flavor really easily depending on your setup. Steeping can help but methods vary from what I've read so find what works best for you, if you go this route, and stick with it.

One thing that I really like about AVE's juices is that I can vape all that I've tried right out of the mailbox. "Steeping" (what a misleading word - it's really just aging) can cause a juice to become more complex or as in the case of Flue Cured and 555, slightly sweeter. Not normally needed, though IMO.

My experience using GJ is that you need to shake the bottle vigorously every time you use it. I use boge 3 ohm cartos in tanks consistently on my provari at 5-5.2 volts. About 100 mls ago, I noticed that I was getting a primarily hot pepper taste from it. Not hot as in temperature, but hot as in a spice, whatever Ben uses to give the GJ that "kick". It was all kick and no banana. I vaped through it and made sure that I shook the heck out of my bottles every time I filled my tanks. Sine then, it's been a much more consistent vape, indicative of what I remember/expect from it.

3 or 2 ohm? That's pretty low wattage, if you can get your voltage up to closer to 5 volts, you'll get much better flavor out of it (that, or try a 2 ohm boge).

I was vaping at 4.6-4.8 but it was burning the juice/flavoring and my carto wouldn't last a day even when kept constantly wet or using a tank. I'm getting better results at 4.2. The plan is to stop using cartos completely in the near future.
