I got my SB. I opened it once and placed a battery and closed it. Used it for the last 4 hours or so(never charged the battery). WORKS GREAT

Now I'm trying to open it again to charge the battery and the top will only screw off about half the way and it wont thread anymore.

Any tips on how to remove the top?

I cant screw it back up or down. It's not moving at all. I'm getting blisters trying.

First off go to LOWES and get the NOALOX, while you are there get some rubber grip gloves to aide in working the threads in. If there is slight movement it will work loose. Please do not use any type of tools to try and get it apart, if you can not get it to work apart using NOALOX contact me via PM.

Will a little soap work until we can get to Lowes?? Plus I am not sure as to which direction the batteries are supposed to go? Positive side towards the atomizer? No directions came with mine..

The batteries go positive up towards the switch. As for the soap, just asked chad, he says that soap will work temporarily.

Yea I had a tight spot and the bar soap loosened it up nicely. I was afraid it would get stuck if I forced it. I will get some of that stuff tonight or tomorrow afternoon.

Its too bad we can't get that Noalox stuff here in Europe, guess it has to be both anti corrosive and have electrical conductive properties.

Soap worked great - glides real smooth now.
Maybe I shouldn't have used deodorized soap though - I swear I can taste it while vaping LOL

I'm sure Chad might do some poking around the net tonight to see if there is an alternative for the UK.
