If you have one of the ones with the air inlet hole behind the electrodes you will notice a very big improvement in flavor and vapor production.

Thanks lordeross33. I'm eagerly waiting for my katana to arrive(thanks Kami), and the first thing i will be doing is aligning the air hole. I've been strictly using the ody for months now and i'm contemplating on trading it for a V1 Katana. I want to keep the one from Kami new, since its hasn't been used, and intend to use the V1 katana as an all day pv. what do you guys think?

Maybe you're missing what I mean

This is what I believe you have, and if so, it's how it should be.

If you connect the dots between the inlet hole, the wick hole and the electrode holes it makes a "Y". If you do not remove the nylon and flip it, the fill hole will always be on the right of the wick and air inlet.

It's not a bad idea though to keep one new and with a stock of batteries and juice for the zombie apocalypse.

Lorderos - that is what I have in regards to the air inlet hole ..... I thought you meant the fill hole should be at 6 o'clock, in front of air inlet.
