    Default Genesis atomizer failsafe technique

Posted this elsewhere, but I figured I'd put it up elsewhere so more people know about this trick as it's extremely helpful for those having issues setting up their genis.

Here's my DID on the COV Ω meter I just got in from Bruce. If you're having trouble setting up your DID or any other 510 genesis atomizer, I HIGHLY suggest you get one of these from cloudsofvapor.com! What I do is meter my length of R wire with my multi meter to get a control number, screw the atomizer onto the meter, turn it on, wrap my coil, and then right away I know if i have any shorts if I get a number higher than 3-4Ω or lower than 0.5-0.7Ω depending on the number of wraps and gauge of the resistance wire, and if i do, i know instantly whether or not my coil adjustments are doing any good as I make them. This method bypasses any need for the cigarette paper method and also helps you isolate exactly which adjustments provide positive results, which teaches you the proper techniques going forward so you can eliminate the need for the meter at all.

That's a sneaky-good idea right there! Makes for a nice stand while wrapping, too!

If only it was in stock....

I've been stalking that piece on several sites for a while.

You can make one with a multi meter and a 510 connector if you really want to set some up.

Yea, I have a bit of time left before my DID's arrive. I might just rig something up with a 510 connector, a block of wood and a multimeter.

I'd prefer to just buy it but we'll see how ambitious I actually get with the DIY.
