    Default Charging an eGo 510

Hello there. I'm currently using a Vogue 510 bsg and I was looking into getting a larger battery for use with my boge cartos. I've settled on an eGo but I want to know if the USB charger that came with my vogue would work on it. I've enclosed a pic on the attachments to showvthe charger and my current battery. Any help would be appreciated as I can't find an answer anywhere! :'-(

You must use an Ego charger for the Ego battery, the larger battery requires more power to charge than a regular 510 charger can supply, you could you damage the charger, the battery or both, I suggest just picking up an ego kit that comes with the charger and batteries.
Green/Black Reo Mini, Silver Reo Mini, Vamu's, Vision Tox, OG Chrome Infinity, Icon v1, Black Bolt, Roughstack's, Old Goat feeder, VV Barkoff mod, Bulli a2/tm w/vaporage driptip adaptor, Black 306DCA, Polished 306DCA, ST Telescope, and a bunch of other stuff

You can charge an eGo on a 510 charger but it takes a real long time. The charger for the 510 is rated output at 100-320mA and the charger for the eGo is rated at @420 mA. You will burn up a 510 batt on an eGo charger but not the other way around - it just takes longer. And you can get an eGo charger for around $5 at some places.

The safe answer is: only use the charger that is sold with the battery. There are just too many variations now.

The mini 510 charger should work fine with mid-size units like the eGo, and just take longer as Kent says (it's what many of us use, in one form or another). But lately there are a lot of variations, and the only safe answer is to use the exact charger advised.

And get a Li-Po charging sack especially if you are going to mix 'n match batteries and chargers.
