New trouble shooting item. I noticed yesterday when the vapor deteriorated that I usually add more juice. My first action now is to take the cartridge off and smoke the atomizer till there's only a minute amount of vapor. Put the cartridge back on. If you find that there is minute smoke, add a drop or two of liquid-no more than that. I am finding that most of the problem here is that there is too much juice in the atomizer, not too little. This was 100% of the time!
Next, I take long soft smokes and space them a big longer apart.
My 901 actually lasted more than a half a day without doing anything except smoking the atomizer alone when my vapor diminished!!! I added a drop or two of liquid only twice, and I went thru less than 2 batteries. Problem free in my book.
You'll find it's amazing how many times the atomizer is flooded compared to needing more juice.

Also vape with the cig pointing more down than up.

I have been using smokestik carts and about every 4th one this happens. The others seem to last about 10 puffs and then they are dry. I am waiting for my ejuice to arrive so I can fill the carts I have. I am having all sorts of troubles, but I suppose that is because I'm new to this. I have already figured out that I want the pen style now, so I have it on order.

The same thing happens to me and it's really nasty, I'm at a point that I'm afraid to take a drag.....I got a DSE401 from eSmoker and apperently this is an issue with this particular model....I wish I knew that before I ordred it....so to all you newbies stay away from that one

This is the reason I went from the mini (Pilot M401) to the penstyle. It is usually caused by low battery power and flooding the atomizer. I've usually found accidentally swallowing juice causes the hiccups.
