    The Janty usb passthrough, at least for the penstyle, actually has a battery between the usb and atty therefore the usb just keeps the battery recharged and the atty draws from a standard powersourse (battery). No difference in draw, taste, etc.

    It's all about power and heat and more is better. That's why the bigger battery manual switch devices have such a strong following.
