Brand new atomizer, horrible burnt taste!?!

what could it be, did I just get a bad atomizer. It is so bad I cant use it it burns my throat horribly and I know its not dry. Its not the primer fluid I blew it out and re primed it. I have no idea what could be causing this. Does any one have any suggestions.

Make sure you drip 2-3 drops of e-liquid directly in the atomizer before vaping with it.

That should get rid of the burnt taste, especially if the atomizer is brand new.

i tried that already, it still tastes horrible.

sometimes it takes a few days for mine to get rid of the burnt taste.I think it is whatever the manufacturer puts on them.maybe try cleaning the brand new atty before using it.

I blew the primer fluid out and re primed it with e juice already too. Maybe it just needs to be broke in, hopefully

You could have a bad batch, I've ordered hundreds of atomizers, and sometimes you just get a bad batch. Usually it will have a metallic like taste and honestly there isn't much you can do about it. I've noticed this recently with some of the 510 attys.

Well that sucks. I emailed the supplier and hopefully I will be able to get either a way to fix it or a replacement for it. thanks for the info

i got two bad tasten ones from 2x suppliers

first one

had burnt crap in it tried coke vodka , 70% alcho , vapen water in cart ( per manufact ) ended up given it back to the vendor for new

2nd one

alcho soke resolved @ 1-2 hour mark

Someone please explain this. I've been vaping this brand new atomizer for 2-3 days now with no problems, then all of a sudden I drag on it and it tastes horrible. I figure maybe the cart is running a little dry, so i refill, put it back on and same thing. Horrible taste and plenty of juice in the cart. How does this happen and is there any way to fix it?

man you totally beat me to it. I was just about to post on the same issue. I just gor two new attys for my janty classic. Right off the bat. One of em works ok but its performance is horrible. The second one has the most foul taste and smell. I can't use it. I blew them out. Might give them a peroxide bath nd see if that helps... I really hope so.
