Bad luck

I hope I'm posting this in the right section.My problem is I'm bad luck or just dumb.I first went swimming in a lake with my 901 and realized it when I got out of the water.By the next day not only was the battery shot but so was the atty.I don't understand how people say you can clean your atty by soaking it overnight in vodka or rinsing it with water.Seem's my atty's go dead if they touch anything besides e-liquide.The last night I accidently dropped my new 901 in a glass of wine.I let the battery dry overnight and it is charging and lighting up right but it's like the atty is dead again.I really suck at this.Any suggestions about the atty problems would be nice.

After the attys got wet did you try blowing them out from the battery connection end? You need to blow and blow until you don't get anymore liquid. Then let dry a bit and reprime them with a few drops of e-liquid before using. That's my experience anyway.

I'm sure some other folks will come along with good advice as well.

Yeah I blew it out and I left it on a paper towel and will try it again later.Just sucks because that was my last one.Now I'm just biting my nails and chewing some tabacco trying not to smoke until my new one arrives.Hey Nico I saw your past earlier and just wanted to say I feel for ya man and a better day will come,stay strong.

Well just wanted to say I got my new DSE901 Manual yesturday and I'm loving it.Only ended buying one pack of analogs to get me through the weekend.
