Default Not tasting the flavor, what's going on?

I don't know what's been going on for the last couple of days, but I just haven't been able to taste much flavor from my liquids like I was before. Same liquid I had when I started and the new stuff I got today, just not tasting the flavor as much. Am I just getting used to it? I figure that these aren't supposed to be really strong like tasting the real thing that its flavor is based off of, but it does seem a little weak to me.

Normally wouldn't bother me, but it's just been the last couple of days. Is there much that can interfere with the flavor? I've been drinking cold tea the last couple of days, maybe that's it? I always refill with a few drops every once and a while until it's full again since I don't want to ever get dried out. I'm just perplexed.

Hmm, since I woke up today, I was able to taste the flavor for a short time. But now that I have been awake for an hour, it seems to be going away. Anyone else have that where there is a dramatic drop in flavor after you wake up? Maybe I didn't state it too well in the original post.

If you switch flavors, that problem stops.

That problem happened to me, and it took a few days before the flavor came back.

That's the thing though, I just got this cinnamon midday yesterday.

I haven't had that experience... but mostly I've been dripping, trying out various mixes I've made. Is this a pre-filled cart, or are you filling the cart? Maybe the juice in the cart isn't wicking, and you're vaping a little bit of leftovers of a tobacco flavor juice or something?

All flavours end up seeming to have no 'flavour' at all after a very short while to me. The only one that seems to keep having any taste for me is menthol.

Juice that I bought with Pyramid teabag mod. Cleaned PV, got new cart and gutted it to use the pyramid, made new pyramid filter.

Ok, do you have a fresh atty? One you haven't broken in yet? My guess is there is still some juice on the atty, and the PTB isn't wicking quite as well as you'd hope. But thats just pure guess right there.

Ever walk into a smoke-filled room, smelled the stink ... then it goes away after you're there an hour or so? Same thing with your flavor. Flavors that seem intense at first fade with time. Even fans of hot peppery stuff have to keep upping the ante to get the kick.

I have two attys totally, one that I haven't broken in yet. I tried to clean out this atty with a paper towel and blew it out really well though. I think it's time for me to start learning the more technical side of things!

Someone in another thread said that they had just ordered the RMV cinnamon too, so I may see what they say when they get theirs. Told them to PM me about it, so hopefully I will see if it's just me. Heck, maybe there is something wrong with my taste buds.

For many years now I have had an issue where I can't smell things very well for some reason. And quite often I smell things that aren't there. I may have some sort of issue in the ear/nose/throat area anyway. I can still smell things, but sometimes I have to take a huge whiff. I remember a friend of mine and I did a test with a candle where he showed me how close to it he had to get to smell it and then I had to get practically my nose in it to smell it.
