    Question battery/atomizer thread removal

    ok guys need some tips.

I wanna remove the threaded connectors from a pen battery and a 901 atomizer to make up an adapter for the screwdriver so i can use pen style atomizers.

I've removed the gubbins from the battery and all that remains is the switch and the connector.

Hows the best way to remove the connectors ? Pull them out somehow or push them out from behind ?

Do you use a nut/bolt on the thread to pull them out and if so what size thread is it ?

any suggestions would be gratefully recieved before i dive in heavy handed?

    Thx
    ApO.

to keep the wires/pneumatic switch in tact, I found it best to grab a long, skinny device, and push from the bottom (where the LED) is. Everything should could out in pretty good shape

I am actually making a video on disecting batteries. The simplest way I have found is to screw on an old atomizer and then gentle start to apply pressure in a perpendicular direction to the joint the top battery connector will start to come out and then the whole thing just slips right out intact and undamaged.

Please keep us posted, and share how you make your adapter! I'm waiting for my Screwdriver right now, and have been thinking I'd really like to do the same, since I really like my penstyle atomizers. But I have no idea how to go about fashioning an adapter once I get the thread ends off old stuff.

(I've been reading for a few weeks now, but this is my first post. Have really appreciated all the info available here!)

Go to a hardware store and find a nut with the same thread as the battery. Screw it on and hold the nut with pliers or use a bench vise. Now you've got a good grip on the thread without the risk of damaging it.

I've seen that madog. But while you and I may have a bunch of spare (broken) atomizers lying around, most people don't (I hope). That's why I came up with the idea to use something else
