Default Pilot and M401 parts compatible? and a vent

I'm a good internet shopper, I mean a really good internet shopper and I generally enjoy it. But I must say that I find this the most AGGRAVATING shopping I've ever done! Judging by this business, you'd never guess there was a recession. Everytime I make a buying decision, I come back to a site within 24 hours and the product is sold out! Trying to get everything (e-cig, replacement parts, extras, backups, etc) from one place is chasing a moving target. Then so many have same model no., but look different same box/different box, different name, look identical--HEADACHE!

Anyway, if I buy a 401 from absolutely e-cigs, will I be able to mix and match with Pilot replacement parts and accessories from PureSmoker?

Also, the 401s from Absolutely e-cigs say "Health" on the boxes, That doesn't mean Health Brand, right?

I'm trying hard not to be redundant in my posts, but the site search engine says model numbers (such as M401) are too short or common to include. I wonder if others find this and that would explain the duplicate/similar questions all over the place, sorry for that. This site is such a great wealth of knowledge, but finding the info isn't always easy.

Jenny--I can understand your frustration about inventory but the China Holiday really bottlenecked the supply chain as China was not shipping any product for their Holiday time. As for compatiblity issues--I can not concur. First we are lucky that some of the units have compatibility in the first place otherwise we would really be up a creek. Second, new models are released all the time and if you want a compatability issue answered just fire off an email or PM one of the Suppliers here and you will get your answer. E-cigs, like another new product has its growing pains, but compatabilty questions can easily be redressed by either the vendor or here on the fourm by a memeber. We are always happy to help and I am sure someone will chime in here to answer your question---Sun

Hi Jenny. I think the M401 is compatible with the Pilot that Puresmoker sells, that's just a modified version of a 401. My understanding is that it's not the same Health brand that has a bad reputation.

If you try a tag search rather than a site search you'll probably have more luck.

Yes...intellicig / puresmoker / absolutely e-cig's 401's are all compatible with each other.

And the puresmoker atomizers work very well.
