A quick question, and forgive me if the video explained this, as this notebook can't handle youtube - are the home built atty's more durable? The wires on the ones we buy now are - er - brittle would be something of an understatement.

    Again, many thanks Carlos.

Yes the HBA are very durable... so far my first one is still going strong at over three months and please believe me I have put it through alot. They work really well at higher voltage.
I want to appologize to everyone for having to wait for the step by step. I have had a medical issue and hopefully that's in the past now. I'm recovering well and should be back at it soon... very soon.
    Thanks for holding on!!

Congrats, Carlos, it's people like you who pave the way to self sufficiency which may be a vital need in the future.

As far as profit go, even after posting step by steps, there are tons of people that would want one and can't make their own. I got a mod that way, after the modder posted a step by step.

    Way to go!!!!!

    Carlos,

I look forward to learning more about your home-built atomizer. Could you tell us more about how it works?

    Thanks,

    You guys rock!

I too am anxiously awaiting the step by step. But I don't think this would be anything more than a cottage hobby, or cottage industry, if you will.

How could we manufacture these en mass having to compete with the Chinese? There is no way we could sell these to the suppliers at 5 or 6 bucks a pop and make a profit.

I'm positive these atomizers could not be built and wholesaled for anything close to $5-6 but that really isn't the point. Ultimately, I think this is all about a rescue plan for the time (if and when) Chinese hardware is banned.

Of course, the value of such an atomizer would be considerably higher than Chinese production if they perform reliably month after month after month. Personally, I would rather pay $20 for an atomizer designed for longevity and maintainability rather than goof around with importing generic atomizers for $5.50 that may die in a day or a week or a month.

I love this, the more independent that vapers are from having to purchase their equipment, the better off we'll be especially if worst comes to worst and there's a complete ban on this.
