Drippers Dream!!

I've been experimenting lately with different dripping methods with my 510 mostly because I'm tired of wasting all that juice that never gets vaporized. I use Fluval but I'm sure other materials would work. I cut a small piece of Fluval and instead of putting it in the cart I took it and lightly packed it around the bridge in my atty. Just leave a real small part of your bridge exposed, just big enough to drip on. Now when you drip, instead of the juice puddling at the base of the atty it will be absorbed and your bridge will stay wet at all times, and you know that I wet atty is a happy atty! This thing is awesome and I'm sure that it'll work on other model ecigs too. Happy Vaping!!

I would love to hear comments on this.. one of the reasons I switched to a 2 piece model! I also am awaiting a MOD and if this does work I may look into the fluval more. gonna have to search some on this.. but tell me what you know and where to get it.

were do you get fluval? What about using the wick material in a cart?

Some times my filler will come out of the cartridge and be stuck to the atomizer. When it does this and I pull it out it leaves some fibers stuck to the atomizer. Will this hurt the atomizer?

You can get fuval from any manufacturer of fish products for aquariums.

I ordered way too much and will have some the rest of my life.

This method worked for me last week when I was trying to shorten the 510, I took a small piece of fluval ( I have the eheim tank filter, so I already had the substrate for the filter "fluval" ) and wrapped it, in the same manner as randyc, then i took the cap off the cart, if you pinch the cart in just the right place, or put your fingernail around the very end of the cart, the end cap pops off. It's a tad bit smaller then the ID of the atomizer, I tried several "things" to get the cap to stay in there, but it was more of a pain then anything having to remove it all the time to fill, so I made the hole in the end larger, and syringed the juice in there. Iv'e since scrapped that, after the burning effects were felt haha, but still incorporate the fluval around the bridge, just keep it wet.

You should be able to get fluval from many places that sell fish, you know, for pleasure, not eating, doh ! One box will cost you maybe $10. , and last you 10 years if this is all your using it for.

many people on here have experimented with packing the area around the atty with different types of filler material. The main issue I have seen is similar to what you get with cartos, the material can dry out and burn leaving you with a funky taste. As long as you keep the material wet, you should be good though!

I sometimes take the silica thread from a CE2 and pack it around the coil. It is perfect for this use since it is identical to the use in a CE2 it holds the excess liquid right on the coil. If it burns blow out the atty might need some tweezer action and replace with new CE2 wicking. I mod CE2s often so the ones that go bust before use I pull the wicks for use later.
