Atomizers run about $7.50.... maybe $9 if you shop poorly.

They can last anywhere from a week to months depending on luck and how you use them.

Often, the lifespan can be extended by a cleaning process or ritual.

So the daily COO (Cost Of Ownership) is in the pennies.

Yes.. it could probably be broken down into parts.. and those parts could be replaced. A coil replacement would probably have a retail price of about $2.

So how much energy and fiddling are you willing to expend in order to literally save about $.25 (a quarter) a day?

Heck.. I pay less for an atomizer than I did for a pack of analogs.. and I'd go through almost three packs of analogs a day ($24) without batting an eye.

People who would never have thought about reclaiming tobacco and filters from cigarette butts in order to re-roll them..... now try to save pennies on their atomizers.
    So...can I bum an 801 atty?

No, I have 3 510's with teabag mods in the carts (great mini mod), 1 810 with a quick 4 AA battery pack mod with rca connectors (6.21 volt) that works well but still not the holy grail of vaping, an "evaporizer" in a pcc that blows goats...

Would love to build a better PV from the ground up that holds a load of liquid, loooong battery life and a atomizer that is able to vaporize more liquid at a low temp Less burning).

My point being that maybe it's already out there and you just haven't tried it.

I'd look at a Greencig system if I were you.

What is so great about greencig??? They all seem like variations on the same theme. I get great vapes from my 510, would like bigger batteries and bigger carts for extended vaping.

Welll.. according to those who supposedly know.. the Greencig will give you vapor similar to the 510, with longer battery life and more liquid capacity / cartomizer life. (With the ease and convenience of a 2-piece)

So, isn't that what you're looking for?

Close but no 801... I want to vape hard all day and reload liquid once at most. Recharge overnight and load another 10ml into the thing and forget about it. Could be the size of a pack of analogs, heck I carried them for years with a lighter or two.

I need a bottle with a wick in it to feed the unit wit capillary action... two c cell rechargables and a tube coming from a atomizer the size of a dime. Can your greencig give me that???

Sorry, don't mean to come off as an a**hole, that's why I ask so many stupid questions in the modders forum.

I'm in for $386, and everything fall short in one way or another.
My 801 running on a usb mod at 4.7 volts seems to not heat as well as the original battery, I believe the amperage is too low at 500 millivolt, I put together a 6.25 volt AA battery mod to see what the 801 does with that, too much, starts giving me a burnt tast quick, almost like a dry cart. I will find the right combo for me, don't think it lies in the "factory" models...

I would love to hear from someone who wants to or has started from scratch and redesigned from the ground up.
