510 atty w/custon ceramic cup and body
I have been thinking about making a custom atty to fit on my chuck.
Take the atty threads from a 510 atty and build a much bigger diameter housing and ceramic cup specifically for dripping. I have some Ideas on how to mount the atty threads to the bottom of the new housing and such but need some more input on safe material to use for the rest of the atty.
7/8 aluminum tubing or same diameter as the chuck.
plastic nut to jam in the bottom of the tubing and hold the atty threads and keep juice from leaking.
hand carved ceramic cup to hold the coil and funnel juice to the coil.
I dont know about the top of the atty maybe a piece of a pen like damulta used in his drip atty mod.
Any other ideas out there?

Google search "ceramic wire nut". Google search "porcelain wire nut". Also "porcelain socket". Porcelain sockets can be found that already have holes and such. Wire nuts are cheap and you can use a dremel tool to get the wire, air, and possibly juice holes.
Good luck, I am talking with a glass blower for my custom stuff. Borosilicate glass for the entire thing except wiring and wicking. In the end there may be other materials incorporated... we shall see.
I started a thread recently regarding the similar question.

Glad to be of help, perhaps you can send me one of your prototypes
Ahem, I will now point you to the best designed atomizer housing I have seen to date. It is in the German Forums. You must sign up to see the threads. It is worth the time and effort as their forums are much more frequented and posted in with regards to the Modders section than this forum or any other forum I have seen.
First a link to the thread in the German forum.
Next, a link to photo of that atomizer I have posted here.
If you are going to take the time to do it, make it modular like they did.
Ohh and to read those forums simply copy text and paste it into Google Translate from German to English. I also communicate with those kind folks over there with the same method, but most of them speak English anyways.
