The one from MOV i got today has the tapered head there the drip tip goes in and an O-ring at the base. Everything else as far as the guts looks the exact same.

It's made by a different company if I'm not mistaken. The ones with the non tapered top are from the philippines.

I dunno but I got the sloped top one and stuck s silver anodized ming on it...looks and works super on my eGo's. I did build a gnarley dual coil last night that I am going to pop on my VV when I finish it. Maybe I should buy one more for single coils and use this for dual's??? I watched your vid mentioning triple coils Optimo...no...just no

Made a 5/4 coil with 3mm wick. Came out at 1.6ohms on the provari at 3.8v and hits like a truck!!!

Exactly. And with 34g and the 5/4, you'll reach 2.6-3.0 ohms. They kick. I just recoiled all my new arrivals tonight.
Mountain insinuated that these weren't the knock offs. But I believe they are. BUT....they hit like a truck indeed.

Yea using 32g a-1 kanthal. Gonna try a 6/5 to see if I can get closer to 2.0. Have to get the loops close though to fit.
