Thumbs up Found new love in atomizers.

To start off I started vaping around 4 years ago with a RN-4072 "penstyle e-cig" with cartridges and after awhile ended up moving back to analogs due to the low performance of those things back then and still today. This is where I got introduced to dripping but was unable to actually do it myself due to automatic battery.

I soon upgraded to a 510 manual so I could drip direct to the atomizer and by pass them nasty cartridges but the power behind the unit still left something to be desired.

Fast forward to this year where I discovered the advancements that e-cigs have made and picked up some 18650 mods with cartomizers which are a huge advancement over the cartridge world I was used to so many years ago and failed me horribly.

I have introduced the world of vaping to many co-workers and one of them just recently purchased a kit that came with some atomizers (2.8ohm I believe). I traded some juice for the atomizer to give them a try on the newer units as the batteries and everything has advanced over the years.

I do love my cartomizers but since I moved over to 100% VG due to wanting to give Boba Bounty and Rafa-li-cious a try and some others from Alien Visions and possible allergic reaction I decided the atomizer world would be perfect for this as I would have to worry about clogging.

Second day on the atomizer on my 18650 3.7v mods and I think I might just have converted over to a full time dripper. The vapor production, flavor , and the smooth relaxing vape that I get from the atomizer vs the cartomizers ( I have tried Boge and Smoketek 1.5 dual coil , 2.0, and 3.0) is just about night and day from me. I have found flavors inside of the juice even at 3.7v on the atomizer that I did not taste in the cartomizer.

I decided to give the atomizer with the juice a try on my friend who gave me the atomizer on their re-branded Lavatube and pretty excited to upgrade to a vv device shortly as it just increased my love atomizers it was like a whole new vape.

The past 2 days I have became pretty good at even driving and dripping.

Anyone else experience the same thing? Any drippers have any advice for new things to try?

Glad you found something you like. Just be careful dripping and driving!

Been normally trying to drip mostly when at red lights or stop signs Normally gives me a good 2-3 minutes to quickly pull out my 5ml juice bottle I am now carrying around to drip with and put a 2-3 drops in until the next couple lights or stop signs.

The only way you'll ever know what your liquids really taste like is to drip them.

    What atomizer are you using?

Currently just using the standard 510 2.8-3.0ohm that come with the Lavatube and re-branded Lavatube starter kits.

I know the lower atomizers will be better suited for better vape on my 3.7v mods but since I plan to upgrade to variable voltage soon I plan on just sticking with the 3.0ohm stuff to limit the amount of money I have to spend.

There's a couple from Ikenvape you may want to try (both 510-threaded): The Cannon (it's a big 801 atty married to a 510 connector) and the i06 (an improved 306).

You might want to consider a REO in the future. You can use your favorite atomizer and carry your juice on board. Just like dripping without the hassle.

I have been reading and seeing a lot of mentions on the Ikenvape stuff along with a lot of people really loving the 306 atomizers over the 510 ones.

Going to add that to my future plans of upgrading now that I think I want to lean more towards dripping.

I have looked at the REO but what has put me off from pulling the trigger is the wait for them to release the variable voltage REO.
