As a newb waiting on my first shipment to clear customs I had this thought. Everything but the Nicotine carts and liquid is leagle to import right? has anyone investigated with using 0 nic and adding nic from another source like Nicobate inhalers? these have 10mg per capsule in liquid form. My thinking is it would be not be too hard to run some 0 nic e-liquid through one of these to get the desired results without any import hassles??? Any thoughts??

Possible. I wanna know why nicotine inhalers (which have liquid nicotine) are legal to sell and buy in Australia but e-cigarettes are not legal. The only thing I can think of is that the nicotine inhalers / patches/ gum are made by the Tobacco companies - therefore it's automatically passed, and not these independent companies (e-cigs) don't provide the Australian government tax.

Correct. No way of taxing it.

I read in a thread somewhere on this forum that it has been tried and the answer is that it is difficult and uneconomical to extract.
