    Default Dura-C horrible battery life?

Been using Dura-C for a couple days now. Amazing vapor & throat hit. No cart leakage problems. Compared to the 901, i experience a roughly 30% increase in vapor production. very nice.

Unfortunately the battery life seems to be roughly half of a 901. Both of my batteries die quickly. Anyone else notice the same issues?

You should be able to get 150 up to 200 puffs from a battery. Normal puffs that is to say...

I'm using the Dura-C during the weekdays when I'm on the grind. Great upgrade/replacement from the 901, besides the decreased batt life. I still carry the 901 on me for backup. It would be nice not to.

Atomizer runs very hot (not surprised..this thing is powerful..perhaps that's why the batt is drained so fast). Not a problem for me but it might be for some people.

Janty is doing a great job with their products and I hope they perfect the Dura-C soon. I noticed it is shorter in length than a 901. Would it be crazy for me to suggest that Janty offer a longer battery (more capacity) for people like me who don't really care about the length (just as long as it doesnt exceed a pen style)? Also, a USB passthrough would be a great alternative to people like me with batt life issues.

Thinking of getting a KB for the weekend/night chillaxing.

I really love the Dura.. but I originally purchased 2 kits... and then bought a 3rd kit because of the short battery life. I've never 'timed' the puffs I get off one battery... but I feel like I am constantly putting batteries in the chargers. I felt the same way about the 901 (which I'm also happy with) but I only use my 901 w/USB battery & a power pack. Most of the time I'm okay with the USB and power pack... but don't like to take it with me when I go out. I take my Dura along... PLUS all the batteries I manage to have charged... just in case! I really DO hope that Janty comes out with a USB passthrough for the Dura.. it's such a great e-cig... but.... with the short battery life we need a USB option!

I have noticed that the atomizer plays a big role in the decline of battery life. I thought that my batteries were on their way to a certain death until my atomizer died. (it was down to 2-2.5 hours) I put a replacement on and then I got a normal 3-4 hours. I have noticed one problem. The Dura-C seems to be eating atomizers at an alarming rate. I am currently studying this problem. I am also going to try a ventilated atomizer. 4-6 hole as opposed to 2. I will post my findings on my review of the Dura-C when I finish them. -Devon

Atomizers are under review. We are improving them this and coming week.

performance and longevity are a hard balance to get to. would be like trying to make a stock car engine to last 200,000 miles, or overclocking a cpu from 3ghz to 4.5 ghz and thinking it will last 3 years. anyway, i havent seen ludo around much lately(maybe i was just in the wrong threads), but its good to see you.
