yup this happens when the liquid is depleted. it has been pointed out though the filling is more than likely a type of paper.

it's dry enough that the paper will burn - it is a design flaw. when you taste the burn - stop vaping or before. It's one of the reasons these have a cut-off - if they didn't the burn would surely come sooner. paper is also inhaled when cigarettes are smoked.

Still this is e-cigs and no paper should be inhaled. In the 15 puffs i took i dident taste any burn. But by the look of the "paper" i still must have inhaled some.

I agree, typically the paper does not burn until the liquid is significantly depleted. you must have gotten a cart where the liquid had not spread evenly is all I can guess. Perhaps the kevlar(?) sleeve was not in place correctly. loong carts are a mixed bag as far as I can tell. Some people say they can use one cart for a whole day. I get closer to 60 drags. Some carts contain a steel wool shield around the element. others don't.

So if the paper filling is dry and you try to vape it's possible that it could actually catch on fire? YIKES! That aint good.

Only 15 puffs? Obviously a bad cartridge.
