When does the EVO cutoff kick in?

From my research prior to purchasing, I thought it was a 5 second cut off. I've been sucking on this thing like a downtown hooker and I can't get the damn thing to cut off. I just wanted to get a feel for how long I actually had to drag before the cut off kicked in...but there is none, apparently?

Is mine broken? Is it because I am using the atom battery instead of the genie battery? Am I sucking on it wrong? I am taking a smooth, slow drag with a deep inhale.

Or perhaps there was so much griping about the cut off that they removed that feature?

Other than trying to figure out if this thing actually does have a cut off, I LOVE IT! The EVO is everything I wanted my 901 to be, and more. It's delicious and petite and really emulates a realistic smoking experience for me. It was love at first puff.
