    Default 801 Batteries won't hold a charge

I have 5 batteries for my DSE801. Two of them are practically new, the other three about a month old. For some reason, they won't hold a charge for more than an hour or so. So, I end up running out of charged batteries. Now, I'm beginning to have the same problem with the 901's I borrowed from my husband (I'm using his 901 while I wait for my batteries to charge).

I can't figure out why they won't hold a charge, and the fact that BOTH models are doing the same thing, I know I must be doing something wrong. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Same problem with all batteries? Not impossible, but highly unlikely.
    1. Are you charging them for the required amount of time?
    2. Could it be a faulty charger?

Agga40s - If they are not holding a charge , when not being used, then they are not fit for purpose. send them back and expect a full refund / replacement.

As a supplier , I would expect them to be returned. (Dont return them to me though I dont stock 801s

However as sad as it sounds . If you havent followed the instructions regarding initial charge times etc . then sorry you are screwed.

Hope this helps ( though I seriously doubt it)

    Regards

We're dealing with people from all walks of life. Some can't afford to spend hundreds of dollars a pop for parts & supplies when ever they feel like it. A lot of folks already have parts built up, and most don't have the electrical or mechanical knowledge to keep everything working properly. Not everyone has the knowledge to keep their cars running right, so they take them to a mechanic. I am yet to run across a corner e-cig repair shop. We're here to help each other.

It's unlikely that all those batteries went bad naturally. Like I said in my other post, charge times, or bad charger. Anyway, it's a start.

I totally understand, but I'd hate to see some poor supplier receive a suitcase full of batteries for return.
Yer right - last resort, return them. (but it seems like a deeper problem here.)

Sorry it took me so long to get back to this thread...it's been a busy day. I think it must be a defective charger. Today, the 801 batteries charged as they should, and all is well. But it's sort of a crap-shoot with the 801s...they've been giving me problems for several days, then boom! they work fine. I have a new charger on order, hope that'll fix that problem.

I had gotten so frustrated with the 801s that I didn't realize that all that was wrong with the 901 I borrowed from hubby is that he had already used it for a while. I thought it was a new fully charged one, but it wasn't, so the charge ran out quickly. Sometimes I don't think straight when I'm frustrated...sorry!

Thanks for your help...I'm trying to figure out which USB passthrough to get so I don't have to depend quite so much on the ones that have to be charged.

    To agga40's,
Same problem with 801 battery, I've lost three all together dead, the three I'm using now blinking after and hour or so, am changing out all the time!

Yes, I do charge new ones 8 hours, three times, then go by the green light. But little by little they hold charges less and less.

I CANNOT WAIT for the Janty Stick to get here: All stocked up, extra batteries, chargers, wall USB plug, let's see, oh yes, about 13 extra atomizers when my order from bestecigs.com get here. THEN NO MORE BATTERIES!! Can't wait to see how THE STICK performs, hope no major problems, this is getting way outta hand expensive.
