I've seen a few threads about the auto clean cycle, and they all say the same thing. You should immediately unscrew the battery as soon as you notice the autoclean cycle kick in. Basically, the autoclean cycle is a leftover bit of programming from days gone by. Now it does more harm then good, and isn't necessary anymore. By unscrewing the battery for just a few seconds, you reset the mechanism.

Sorry, thanks, but you cannot do this fast enough so this will lead to more and baked liquid crust on the heater spiral.

It works with the current atomizer, for now... until it dies, I report then.

Atomizer still stands after many autoclean-cycles.

But the crackling sound at sucking is annoying. Was not with the older model series without middle hole at bottom.

    Angry

All atomizers dead within a few weeks. Last one seems to be killed by DSE103 usb battery which died too

The old series DSE103 parts stood for months...

Can't start new thread, so I have to ask here.

Earlier today I have bought SLB DSE-084 (aka 8084). Vapor is frustrating. First draw makes fine volume vapor, but all the following look like air.
I've noticed that atomizer resistance to draw in and blow out considerably differs. Despite of what might be expected, normal mean of smoking (draw in) goes harder than blow back into e-cig!
Is it a regular atomizer behavior? Could you check your DSE-084 atomizer, detached from the battery and cap.
I still have 2 weeks warranty to change the device if atomizer proven to be defect.

Until you have 10 or 15 posts, ( forget which), you can only start a post in the new member section, but you can respond to posts anywhere. Helps cut down on spam.
As far as your e-cig goes, I don't have that model, but the air resistance on all my atty's does feel different when drawing vs blowing. So that is normal.
Make sure your cartridges have juice in them, and the cart filler is not pressed down. It should be almost level with the top of the cart, so when you put the cart on the atty, the filler touches the atomizer, and the juice can wick from filler to atty.
Don't take quick hits like you would a regular cig. First take a quick primer puff just to heat the coil. Then a slow, easy hit for 4-5 seconds.

Here's a few links to help you out.

Well, did not harm the older design attys.

3 new attys from HG just arrived, testing now and avoiding AC with bestecig's DSE103 usb passthru.

3 OHM types, Liquid smells little burned again or HG's new crap liquid, awaiting heater element failure, will report.

Resumed normal operation after 20 puffs, great vapour amount and smell is no more burnt, knock on wood...
