    Default KGO Battery Shorts

The other day, one of my KGO batteries Did the three long blinks. Not thinking much of it, i assumed that meant the battery was dead, so i put it on the charger. I noticed on the charger both the red and green light were on at the same time. I continued to use my other battery, but the next day, the same thing happened to my other battery. Now neither batterys work, and do the three long blinks. I've read that means there's a short somewhere, i tried pulling the pin on my cartomizer, but nothing. Neither batteries work on any cartomizer or atomizer i own, but they all work on a smaller 510 battery i own, so ive been using that as a back up. I'm Just wondering what could have caused this issue, and if there's anything i can do to resolve it. They were both still under warranty, so i contacted the Vendor as to what i should do, they suggested pulling the pins, but i informed them that thats not the issue. I've not heard back from them in two days, so im not sure what to think of all this. any help is appreciated. At the time that both the batterys stoped working. i was using a 1.5ohm dual coil cartomizer in a 3.5ml tank. The carto worked just fine for two days before this occurred.

Have you cleaned the connections on the battery and cartos? Have you tried something with a higher resistance?

Yes, the connections are clean and ive tried with a 2ohm atomizer. The suppler had sent me two replacement batteries and return postage to send the shorted ones back to him

I am beyond enraged. I received the new batteries, and within 10 minuets of each other, they both shorted as well. is it possible for a faulty cartomizer to cause a battery to short? Neither of the batteries are usable at all anymore, and they were less than two days old!! All the issues ive been having have me considering switching back to analogs, but i really do NOT want to do that to myself.

At this point I'm thinking it's the equipment you're using on them. I've ordered three kits (6 batts) from hoosier and have had no problems so far...or you are the unluckiest vaper ever.

After going over your original post again, I have a one or two additions to make.

I know this is silly but at this point I think it's time to explore every possibility.

Are you making sure the batteries are not just going dead? None of mine have shipped fully charged and have gone dead shortly after receiving them. When they do go dead, the light will flash three times and turn itself off until it is recharged and turned back on. That being said, the 5 click on/off function is not timed very well so sometimes I have to just keep hitting the button pretty quick until it flashes that it's back on.

When you put a dead battery on the charger, it is normal for the green light to flash while the red light is on. I also constantly make sure the atomizer and battery contacts are clean/dry, although I'm not sure this is the problem, I'm just slightly OCD about it.

Let me know if this works.

Hi Herzeleid 14......So it seems four batteries have gone dead on you, straight. I have a strong hunch, that it might be the charger, u r using...or the charging point...did you try changing/swapping either of these two?

    Best of Luck

i know the batteries are not dead, whenever i try to fire either of them they would do three long blinks. and thee lights weren't blinking on the charger, they were both on at the same time. Im pretty sure it was the cartomizer, i threw it out, and he is replacing the batteries again. Great customer service and hoping i have no more issues
