Finally got a dead battery..well the switch is permantly stuck to the ON position so I don't use it now that I have replacements.

Would any of the kind UK techies be able to make a USB mod for me ?

I left all the electronics in place so it's got the original vacuum switch.

Oh I haven't been here for a while (was ill). I didn't think anyone wanted it so I painted it white. I don't know if that paint will hold though. But anyway, let me know if you still want it...
