    Default USB charger suddenly not working

    Hallo. I got an Evo with a USB charger (couldn't be arsed with all that mucking about with power adaptors) a little over a month ago. Worked great until this morning. Now I have two flat batteries that stay flat no matter how long I have them in the charger. This is a very sudden development and it is pissing me right off.

    What is happening here??


    EDIT: Seems to be working now. Grit in the connection thingie, I think. But it's still going to be a few hours before I can get my nicotine fix. Gah!

    Unfortunately, yes ... that can & does happen. People routinely clean the connection threads on the batteries, but I don't know that everyone thinks to do the same with the charger.

    Ya gotta figure, if there's gunk on your batteries, your putting that gunk into your charger. Must clean both.
