Default how to open dead penstyle batteries?

i want to open a dead penstyle battery (best e-cig) to make a passthrough out of it,but i can't get the bottom (threads) off.

i have seen the video how to open a 901 battery,
which i already did successfully many times.

i tried the same method on the penstyle, but it didn't work.
then with some more force and the atomizer broke in 2 pieces...and the threads on the battery didn't even move....

    any advice??

Yasu Parapo. Each time I have removed one it was with a dead atomizer attached, and I pried down in a circular motion till it came loose. Think of the threads as the tip of a cone, and the end of the atomizer the large end.

I used a blow torch to heat an atomiser I couldn't take apart and it worked a treat.

You've ran into a really hard crimped end. Like Kate said a little heat couldnt hurt, just be careful not to melt the rubber insert. Also from the plastic plug end, pry the plug out and insert the blunt end of a drill bit and push.

thanks, i'll give it a try.

    btw.
i have found that on RNxxxx type batteries (best e-cig too)
after pulling out the middle piece with the hole,
the plastic insert (insulator) which is actually made of silicone, can be easily removed and re-installed.

    Trumpybloke.....
that will happen eventually when everything else fail.....
