sloth, I think there's unreliability with batteries across the board. Of the ones I've tried the evos charge quickest and last longest but the 5 second cut off is annoying as it seems to kick in in less than 5 secs as the batteries age.
How do you know they're not charging if they're still lighting up? Are you sure the atomiser is connected properly and working? Either way, stick up your problem on the intellicig forum Intellicig - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat and John will sort it for you.

I stupidly ordered 2 generic batteries for my failed evo because I wasn't going to order anything from intellicig after the way I was treated by them. Both arrived with working leds and as far as I know, they were charged, but one did nothing and the other gave me almost 1 puff and then died. I then, and this really is the very definition of "stupid", ordered two evo atomizers, thinking that may be the problem, still nothing. I'm sure intellicig buys the same generic batts and simply puts their name on them so, where ever one gets them, at least in my experience, the failure rate is high. Very cheap product.
Now my 510's are still going strong after all this time and they are generics from the same company in China. I think the 510's are simply a more quality item, no matter were you get them, brand or generic. The price was much lower than the evo too.

Have been using EVO since June last year. Their batteries are unpredictable, as are their atomisers. Now they have changed the desing of their cartridges. I am seriously considering returning to ordinary cigarettes. I have tried other makes, but so far come up with nothing that works for me

Well I have to tell you unequivocally that you are talking absolute nonsense. Our batteries are sourced outside of China, which is one of the reasons that the EVO has become one of the most popular ecigs on the market and why it is now exported to over 20 countries worldwide with branded websites in many of those countries. Maybe you ought to speak to the 50,000+ EVO owners and tell them that they are all mistaken?

I'm off to Poland tomorrow to help another supplier with a major promotional event on Saturday and I may well become the face that launched a thousand kits!

Best wishes.

You mean somewhere there are batteries and atomisers that aren't unpredictable.
Anytime I've tried anything other than the evo I've ended up back on them pretty quickly and the new cart design makes for an easier draw and a longer vape.

It's been two months since I ordered the EVO! I still have the two original migthy atom batteries wich are going strong and I changed an atomizer few days ago. The first one wasn't really bad, it was still working, but not as it was new. Now I'm using a new atty and it smokes like a chimney!
I can't really make any comment on the customer service since I never had any problems. All I know is that anytime I had a question they responded really quickly and shipped my orders within the next day.
