battery charged, new cartridge
atomizer gets hot
no smoke
what did i do wrong?

I would normally say you need to top off your cart with juice......but with a fresh cart? Does the cart look wet inside?

Ugg The cleaning cycle got my ecig. This is the worst taste ever. I have the dse901 and it blinked red(I have a blue led) about 50 times. I hope this taste goes away soon.

I have a 901 also, just got mine 5 days ago.

How long did you go before you triggered a cleaning cycle? Or does anyone know the criteria for triggering a cleaning cycle?

I got caught the first time with my 901 (I'm used to a minipipe, and they don't have cleaning cycles.) Swilling it well in 95% ethanol helped quite a lot (vodka or meths would do at a pinch, but do let it all evaporate afterwards though!)
Then you just need to keep vaping it until the taste goes away - by the end of the second 3-4 drop topping off it was back to ok with me (after the alcohol.)

It will tell you everything you need to know... as for suppliers, I am not sure how it would work trying to get a US supplier to ship to you...
