Actually, the only difference is the diameter of the center pin. Both will work for our purposes. I just find one easier to get my hands on at my local RS, someone around here seems to be in love with the size M as it is never in stock. Same price, same function.

Dude this is awesome. I'm about to start selling e-cigs in my country (Uruguay), but I may have problems in the future because there is a new law prohibiting anything that looks like a cigarette (chocolate cigs, toy cigs.... e-cigs), so this might actually be my salvation!

Here's my version of this mod. I wanted to see how quickly I could put this one together so there is no epoxy or glue (all friction fit and the tightened nut on the switch). It took about an hour to put together with most of the time being spent on drilling the holes and waiting for the soldering iron to heat up. It works like a champ and I love how small it is. Nicowolf, thanks for getting me to pick up the soldering iron once more.

Nico , I couldn't resist but try this for myself.

Parts are real cheap , easy to get and it's a cinch to put together, great stuff. thanks for the inspiration.

    Here's my results :

Really happy to see my idea brought to life - so much nicer (and smaller and more robust) with the atomizer mostly inside the case

    Apostle51 - That's a really neat construction!

Is anyone planning on doing a step by step tutorial for those of us that are "technically challenged." I would love a manual switch for my 901s.

lol, okay guys, I get the hint. I recessed my connector into the body of the unit and epoxied it into place so it has a bit shorter stem.
