LOL looks like a pipe bomb. Dont get on a plane with that thing. Also reminds me of a detonator with the button and the atty as the antenna... I watch too many movies.

Default Rather than liquid electrical tape...

As far as cosmetics go (the liquid electrical tape part ), you can get rhino-lining in any color you want... That might be cool...

Not to be an alarmist but I could swear I saw somewhere on the forum that copper forms a gas that shouldn't be inhaled when heated?

Really? Here's a link to what I'm referring to. Whether it's correct or not, I have no idea.

    Very strange experience today!!

I have been looking at the various mutations like this.

I want to do something like this, with the side switch, but using std brass fittings.

    Threaded pipe, end caps etc.

I can't for the live of me figure out how you wire the switch without grounding everything out.

Any help on the wiring would be appreciated.

I'm probably just WAY overthinking the darn thing.

the body becomes the ground, the switch stays isolated from the body and only makes contact to the battery positive and the other side of the switch goes to the positive of the atomizer.

It does not look like it should matter with this design. The copper is not being heated nor is in the airstream from what I can tell. It appears to just be holding the battery, switch, and atty connector.

2k2 - how did you attach the battery connector to the housing?
