If anybody wanted to do so, one could keep the LEDs, perhaps add a 220ohm resistor to dim them a bit and add a donut of blue acetate over them. Example of what would look like: 2nd pic in this post: First Screwdriver Mod

Can you do a closeup of how you're mounting the atty and the end cap assembly back in place? Does the atty unscrew now or no?

Did anyone else manage to make one of these? I can't even get the top off the LED end without destroying the PCB.
