I am in too. Just tried a 5v and loved it. Much better TH than the 510 and am dying to make one. PM me if possible as a student. Keep in mind some of us have no experience here so we may need a lot of instruction but are way interested.

I would even love it if someone posted a "mods for dummies" post. Explicit instructions with tips and tricks to make a mod and then what to do to go from there... Maybe something in the 5V style for a bigger hit. Pass through or whatever is the most basic with radio shack type parts.
