    Default Passthru mod

I did a search and after going thru several pages of it I didn't find what I'm looking for. I am tired of paying high prices for a passthru that works a few days then quits. I want to make one myself then the only person I can be mad at is me.

You all are great and I know that more than one of you have made a passthru yourself. Please share the info with me! I am desperate at this point for a good passthru so I can quit worrying about batteries. I already have plans to make the nicostick but I want to do a passthru as well.

    Thanks in advance!

Buy a PS manual passthrough. I think these will really hold up for a long time. They sound like MUCH better quality.

Message Nerf he does live on line tutorials. He can tell you when his next one will be. I've been hoping to catch one, but every time he is scheduled to be on something keeps me away from the computer. Maybe we should ask him to make us a CD disc, then we would have it for reference, too.

The last 2 I had were manual. One lasted a day, the other a week. That does not make me happy at all. I need something that I know I can count on.

Thanks for that. I'll message him. Maybe he could do it on youtube or some other video sharing site. I probably would have a hard time catching a live one also.

Yes, but have you looked at PS's. They are sealed and they have a much stronger wire and parts. They look like they are going to be very good quality. That's all I'm saying. I'm sick of the China ones also!

How are they breaking? I've made a dozen manual passthrus for myself and others and haven't had a single failure or complaint yet.

Details please, type of failure, where you got it, etc, etc.

I'm not sure what in them is breaking. The first one did great the day I got it. When I was ready for bed I unplugged it from my atty and computer. The next morning when I hooked it all back up it would light up, without me actually drawing on it, I was just holding it. Stay lit for a few seconds, then flash a few times and start the cycle all over again. The second one, at about a week old, did the same thing. BTW, these are the manual push button ones.

Nerf, if you could please tell me how to make one I would be the happiest lady in Tennessee. I'm disabled and I don't get up and get around much so I'm in front of my computer most of the time I'm awake and I am really tired of batteries. I want a passthru that will hold up and keep me off analogs. My health really can't take me going back to analogs.
