kinabaloo .... you amaze me Watching the things you make is always fun, entertaining, and educational! I really like the fact you use a breadboard for testing as well!

Breadboards are great!

Just a few things don't fit well - relays, power/rectifier diodes and most preset pots.

'Entertaining and educational' - maybe i should ask for a tv show

These batteries certainly work well - at least the one I've been using. Though it might be a Li-poly or something but checked and it's just a Li-ion. So sometimes size does matter (max output current / internal resistance).

A customer might be surprised by paperclip battery contacts (eek) but they do the job well. Nevertheless, I have some 14500s on order to compare.

Yeah, that's what we used when testing diodes/resistors ... Take all the work out of having to solder everything

your own tv show ... ya never know!
