Fog--I wish they listed the dimensions, and if it is in fact protected. Is it a recharge? Due to the fact that the positive is rasied, that might very well indicate that it is a protected battery. Worth an email to inquire for sure---thanks for the post---------Sun

most high mAh batteries (outside the norm that is) like some specialty CR and RCR's including the 14500 are NOT rechargeable ... nice find though

If you want high maH, try these: Ultrafire 18650 3000mah BUTTON TOP Protected Rechargeable Lithium Battery Li-Ion UF18650-BRC By the way, as for dimensions, the first two numbers are width, the second two are length. For example, the 14500 that Fog posted are 14mm wide and 50mm long. For reference, a standard AA battery is 13.5-14.5mm wide, and about 51mm long. |

I have some 14500 batteries on order. You can get them in rechargeable, and protected. One of the other forum members posted that the numbers on the batteries will give you the specs. The first two digits is the diameter in mm, and the second two digits are the length in mm. So: 14500 - 14 mm in diameter and 50mm long 18650 - 18 mm in diameter and 65 mm long 17650 - 17 mm in diameter and 65 mm long |
