    Panel-Mount RCA Phono Jack (4-Pack)
    Panel-Mount RCA Phono Jack (4-Pack) - RadioShack.com

    Phono (RCA-Type) Plug (2-Pack)
    Phono (RCA-Type) Plug (2-Pack) - RadioShack.com

I don't see where to get that little barrel that you're using though between the RCA jack and the 901 connector. Is that already on the part and you're just pulling it off? I'm new to this, so please forgive me if it's an absurd question, I'm just trying to understand this.

I want to make an 801 adapter. Altsmoke.com sells 801 connectors. Will I be able to use these 801 battery connectors or will I be missing any parts?

AltSmoke | Personal Vaporizer 801 Battery Thread - Mod Shop (they also sell 501 and 901 threads)
The second link is the connector I am using in your post. The front part unscrews and you cut the remaining piece down to .4" in length. Then press in an 901 (pictured) or an 801 into the end without threads. Then screw the front rca jack back ito place. I use a dab of JB weld when I press the 801/901 connector in place.

Note: For an 801 you will have to taper the end of the barrel some, I will post a pic of one tommarow.

    Thats it.

Here are the pics of the 801 connector I made:

You have to bevel it a little at the end or it will not fit into the atty, since the atta has the plastic end that covers the recessed threads.
    Hope this helps

    Dave,

Thanks for the info regarding the 801 connector I was looking at buying.

    Dan,

Those pictures are great, thank you so much! That is exactly what I needed for it to click in my brain. I'll post some pictures within the week if I succeed in making my first mod.

OK, i edited and now it allowed me to upload more pics for some reason...

You can connect any atomizer to any power source mod with this adapters.
I don't see any mention in this thread of how this could power a 501 atty. Ayone know what kind of connector is needed to connect a home made battery pack to a 501 atty?

Well you will need the battery connector from a 501 battery, and then just make the adapter as shown above, just replace the 901/801 battery connector with the 501. The diameter should be the same for the tube. I do not have one so I can not measure it out for you. If someone wants to send me a 501 battery connector I can make the PVMA adapter, post the pics and then send them the completed adapter back. I will do this for the first person that sends me one. I am not doing a 100 over the next six months LOL.

The PVMA takes the battery connector and puts in an RCA jack. Each type of atomizer would have it's own.

So, you end up with ONE battery box and connectors for 401/510/801/901/etc instead of separate battery boxes for each atomizer type.

I imagine you jumped on Dan's offer, but I believe a 401 atty connector will work too if you have one. Most of the connectors are just flipped versions. I know I have way more dead attys than batts. 901 & 4081, 401 & 510. You just have to make sure your atty can breathe.

LOL nope no has jumped on my offer LOL I figure my PM box would be full, but it still stands if any one wants a 401 or 501 I will do both so we can get pics posted. Just PM me and I will give you my address. Create it document it and send it back fully assembled in a RCA housing.
