Can you please outline all the parts required for this wonderful mod (perhaps where to buy them as well?) I am interested in trying a hand at it. I love how your RCA connectors look (they look much neater than the other RCA-connectors I've seen). I have a different case in mind to mod like that. I want to make my first mod and I think the RCA connection-type is the way to go for me since I have all sorts of different atties. I'd definitely want to be able to use 801s and 510s at least.

Of course Rexa, just follow this thread, there you can see pics of all the RCA adapters as well as many other RCA goodies and how to make them.

The PVMA no more worries for batt connectors!

There are links on that thread to radio shark's parts if you want to get the connectors in a hurry.
Much cheaper if you are not in a hurry to get them here:

If you have any questions, post them or send me a PM, i will be glad to help you as much as i can.

    ericscott,
I don't sell them because i use them , i like variety that is why i keep building, (besides it being a lot of fun).

The other reason is if one of my mods ever fails, i just pop it open and fix it. What if that happens to you?, maybe you will be able to fix it, (time, tools, know how, patience, etc.), maybe not, and then you would hate me, or it would take quite some time to ship it back to me, fix it and return it to you. I hope you understand what i mean. I don't mass produce and it would never be cost effective for both you or me.

If you have basic skills and tools, i don't mind helping you out building one for yourself in any way i can.

If you don't, i am sure you have a friend or family member that does.

Send me a PM and we can talk about it.
You could sell kits. Just a thought. If they had the kits and directions they could make any repairs if needed.

The picture confuses me because there are so many types that are used. I just want the ones you specifically used for the box mod you posted about. I looked through Radioshack's site and there are so many types of rca connectors that it's confusing for a noob I don't know if they are all the same or if I should be looking for a specific type or if a certain type they sell is more difficult to tear apart versus another and so forth.

Thank you Cisco, trying to learn from your very clean looking mods.
It is just hard to find the right case to fit 1 or 2 18650, it is all i use lately since i am an obssesive vaper and all other batteries seem to not be able put up with me. With one 18650 i can forget about re-charge for about 8-10 hours. At home it is no big deal since i vape out of a 4.5V and 1,600A wall wart and it vapes like it was a 6v mod if not more.

That is because you did not read through the thread , you would have found the links to the exact parts. I know it can be frustrating, specially in that thread with a million things going on.
I gathered the links for you.

    So here they are:
First the jack you will use for your box...

    Panel-Mount RCA Phono Jack (4-Pack) - RadioShack.com

And this one is to build the adapter for your atomizers...

    Phono (RCA-Type) Plug (2-Pack) - RadioShack.com

That is all the RCAs you will need.

On page 5 of that same PVMA thread you will find how to assemble the adapters.
Any other questions feel free to ask.

I just stumbled on that on DX when looking for a cheap torch to mod and got all excited. I have not made a mod yet and don't have the tools or skills required but this modding thing has bitten me HARD
After seeing what you guys are doing I just gotta put in the hours and try some mods.
Anyway my original thoughts on seeing that kit was that it could be charged using the usb lead making a more universally available option. Most homes and offices have 1 usb cable you could use if you don't carry one and a simple lighter to usb adaptor for the car. And of course it save the need (for now) to buy a battery charger.
The only problem I thought of was the 5.7v stated output. Is this a little too high? I intended to only mod the torch head ( and if I do will definatley use your RCA mod for this) so don't want to gut the usb part. Any ideas ?

PS Oh do the indicator lights still work on your mod (look at the shiny shiny )

    Keep up the great work
    Chris
