    Default my first box mod

I know this is probably a little boring to the veteran modders out there but I made my first box mod today. I want to thank Nicowolf for the thread that he posted as an instructional. It really helped. I decided to keep the connector in the black metal casing and just glue and epoxy it into the case so mine is a little longer than the ones with the connector inside the box but it seems ok and the connector seems really solid in the case. So here it is and I will understand if you let out a yawn.I know the wiring is a little sloppy but I was so excited to finish my first one that I didn't do as clean of a job as I could have.

Its only boring if it does not work. Good job. I am using my first box mod exclusivly till my "chuck" is made by jeff. I only use stock batteries as low profile backups. I still manage to blow through 4 to 6 cr123's a day. I must vape alot.

NOT yawning here, what makes me really yawn is when no one is showing their creations, regardless of how they look.

Good job and will be waiting for your next and next and....

I just got some 801 connectors from one of the members here and would like to make an 801 box but I don't have any 801 parts yet. I will need to order a couple attys and some carts. I also got some 5v regulators for free from TI so I was thinking about buying some more parts and making an 801 at 5v.Also, I have been using the mod I made today and it seems like the draw on it is alot easier than my regular 510. I was wondering if I need to plug the back side of the 510 connector or something. I would appreciate any advice on this.
