Then you did modify it a little. Did you do anything else?
Did you have to buy anything else or just remove the blades and put in the connector?

Wow, you did an excellent job on that! Did you put in the LEDs yourself or was that already on the nose hair trimmer?

It's really easy. You just have to polish a little inside to make room for the bigger battery, then glue the positive connector.

The lights are also easy to make. I used one 3 colour led. Drill 4 holes , cover them on the outside with duct tape. The using a glue gun fill the holes from the inside. Remove the duct tape and that's it.

I bought the PTN04050C from farnell, uk store. Really fast shipping !!!
I ordered and next day i had it at my door ( i live in Romania and i ordered from uk so next day delivery it's impressive ).

Soon i will make another 2 of them for some friends and i will try to make a little tutorial.

VERY nice work - please do make up a video DIY - always nice to see how it's done exactly..
Alternatively a write-up would be great - just a set of step by step pics and listing of components, tips posted up on here.

    Looks good! Way to go.

I'd put a speaker in there to mimic the hair trimming sound just to make it stealth

You shouldn't have posted this. I'd totally believe it was made in a factory if you hadn't let the cat out of the bag. You should have made a bunch of them and announced a brand new model of PV, and sold them at 100 bucks a pop.

And not mentioned anything about nose hair.

After all, if anyone did realize it was a nose hair trimmer, what are they going to do? Admit they know what a nose hair trimmer looks like?
