Hi. My title says it all! Is it ok to use them? Haven't tried yet, thought I would ask first. They are AAA Duracell rechargeable NiMH 1000mAh batteries.

uhmm, not sure but 2 AAAs come to 2.4 volts and your USB port puts out 5V. It doesn't sound like a good idea.

Thanks Archer, I'm not really technically minded when it comes to batteries. The USB passthrough holds one battery. The battery that came with it (that I am using now) reads ICR10440P 320mAh-so I am presuming that it is less powerful then one of the Duracell AAA's?

those numbers only represent the capacity of the battery ie. how long it can power a device. how much power it puts out is rated by Volts. but you might want a second opinion.

The battery that comes in the passthru is a 3.7v Li-ion 10440. The USB power charges the battery as you deplete it while vaping. You'll get a much better experience running off of straight 5v USB power instead.

Edit: And putting a NIMH or NiCad AAA in there will do bad things. Very bad things.
