I think what you found is a great solution, I am not offended in anyway. I was just giving my results about using this connector in a tight fit situation. I think when my flash light from China finally get here, this will be a perfect connector for the 901 atomizer. I have bought 4 of these so I can make future mod. I will upload a pic of my USB pass-though using this connector in the DIY section as soon as I am allowed to post pics. Once again, great find!

I think I've alluded to this before, but if your are melting the switch housing, then you are having to leave the iron in contact too long. You need a very hot iron so you can heat the contact quickly before the housing "sinks" the heat to it.

Try generously "tinning" the wire and the contact with solder before you attempt to join them. Then you can join them together without having to juggle with the solder. Try not to let the joint move at all until the solder has set (cooled slightly.) The whole joining maneuver should take 1-2 seconds.

My Craftsman voltmeter crapped out in the middle of a project (naturally) so I ran to the small town hardware store to get a cheapo. The old guy asked what I was doing, told him, and I thought I had everything wired right (I did, the new transformer was bad.) Instead of selling me one, he let me bring my parts in and he tested it with the stores voltmeter.
If you have a small town locally owned hardware store, make use of it. Those older guys should be appreciated, IMO.

Damn, what I wanted to add was that these guys were building radios, stereos, a myriad of stuff. They are usually glad to help sort it out or give advice.
    Anyone remember Heath kit?

Here is my best attempt at a wiring diagram for this. It is just a sketch, not art, so please don't laugh.

Viewpoint is from the battery side - atomizer side is not visible. Orientation is just like diagram on back of product package. Any questions, please feel free to PM me.

Thanks Nicowolf, I also found out the size "M" works as well.

Good catch. I was wondering about the "M" size myself. I stood there at Radio Shack for a good while staring at the "M" connectors after cleaning out their supply of the "N" connectors. Now we need to find a connector for those loongtotem v9 clones. I've thus far just been direct wiring those atomizer/cartridges which work great and I'm sure my batteries will die as well but I like having options!
