Unprotected Battery Question
I accidently ordered the wrong batteries. I ordered 4 unprotected 14500.
Can you please tell me how carefull I have to be.
Do the batteries come fully charged?
How long do I charge them for?
How long can I vape with them before needing recharge?
How will I know when they need to be recharged?

I have a couple and have had no problems when you geet a noticeable drop
in vapor time to charge them.
my charger charges them like any other battery
BUT AS IM SURE YOU HAVE READ YOU SHOULD USE PROTECTED BATTERIES

If you have good medical coverage I wouldn't worry.
Ha just kiddin you should use protected. I am currently still using my copper cr2's without but man let me tell you:
I poured myself a carbonated soda the other day and I had squeezed the bottle while pouring and put the cap back on but as the pressure built up in minute or so it popped real loud right when I took a hit off my copper...
I thought vaping had done me in...I jumped, choked on my vapor and starting checking around for shrapnel wounds!
ha....I'm still hittin the copper.... nothing like nicotine and adrenaline in the morning.....
(hey thats my new signature)

Don'ts:
Don't short them.
Don't use them in series/parallel setups.
Don't spill liquid/juice on them.
Do's:
Do change them when vapor gets thinner.
Do charge them any way you like (with a li-ion charger)
Do vape them without worries.

well im running them in series on a 5v box mod. it that going to be an issue?

you can always add in a protection circuit from battery junction or elsewhere
-
hmm..
Agree with "MDGiest72"
I would recommend you to buy "Protection Circuit Board".
A board might a bit expensive than a new protected one.
or
Don't ever use them all.

unprotected cells in series? What if:
2 volts on the "weak battery" 3.7 volts on the "strong battery" plenty of volts to vape with. Just might be ONE VAPE AWAY FROM BLAM.
Make sure the battery that is going to BLOW is in the end AWAY from your FACE.
A single battery MOD using unprotected batteries can be monitored for weak vapor, stops vaping, stop sucking.
A stacked battery mod might use one battery to forcibly blow the other up.
Would have vaped just fine the vape just prior to the accident.
