Very nice. I like the double barrel Brass one.
It looks wicked cool. I`m a sucker for brass in any form let alone a mod. And nice thinking on the 5 volt lighter mod.
Now I need another one to do at 5 volts. unless I scarf my sisters when she is sleeping.
Yikes I also need more batteries for all this fun.

Ya that brass one really puts out the vapor and I'm a sucker for cartos so I put them on everything. On the lighter one you can make the regulator output hook right up to the carto conection, it's that close. but I couldn't solder nothing to the spring so I put one end of the neg. inside the spring and put it back on the post. It makes a nice snug connection. I love that one it just fits nice in your hand. Thanks Connman.

I was hoping a 5v lighter would be possible, and it looks like you did all the work finding out for me lol. How much harder (vs lighter mod as is) was getting it all set up in such a small space? I want to try this myself in the next couple of weeks, whenever Madvapes gets the batteries back in stock or Battery Junction opens again, and this is just what I wanted to see. Any tips? My biggest concern with trying 5v in the lighter is the size; pretty sure I could solder my fingers together in such a small space.
Great work on the other mods, too. The brass one looks great, I bet it kicks like a mule. Where did you get the body for that? Good collection for sure, and good work on all of them.

It's the easiest mod I've done. I used the regulator with 3 legs from texas ins. instead of the one with the control leg. also had to turn on it's side. The spring is the only problem as I couldn't get solder to stick. Plus it gets hot so since the pics I put a brass cover on the spring to enlarge the circumfrence where it touches the battery and that solved the problem. It really works great.

Even easier than a box mod? That's great to hear, thanks for the info. Do you have a link for the regulator you used? Sorry to be so needy, but I'm putting together a shopping list for TI, and I'm not electrically inclined enough to know what I'm looking at without pictures. I'm slightly above Dr Seuss level with most small electronics, but not by much yet.

Can you tell me what the first mod, the gold one hits like? Both addies are only getting 3.7 volts right? I'm considering doing something similar and was wondering if it was worth it.

Your BOXMOD is very good!
Let's enjoy an electronic cigarette.
