Review: Johnson Creek Red Oak Tennessee, 100% VG 18mg nicotine

Vaped on a Smoov cigalike in a reused SI standard cartomizer.

This was another of my choices in the search for good tobacco favors. I've been enjoying the Halo mixes, but I wanted something in 100% VG. I've recently been getting nosebleeds, and I have some pretty impressive sores in my nose, so I wanted to see if switching to pure VG might help with that..

Packaging: Great quality, per JC's usual. Full size bottles are amber glass with droppers, labels have ingredients and lot number printed on them. The liquid is thick, brown, what you'd expect from a strongly flavored VG.

The taste: flavor is quite subtle. very dry, smoky tobacco flavor, with the barest hint of caramel and nuts which is more pronounced in the nose than the mouth. It has a green bitterness which is very reminiscent of curing American Tobacco. Good thick vapor, satisfying throat hit, like the other Red Oak juices.

Presentation: 10/10
Vapor: 8.5/10
Flavor: 7/10
Throat Hit: 9/10
Overall: 8/10. A very pleasant and satisfying tobacco vape, rougher and heavier than Halo's Prime 15, more throat hit than Torque, and with more a more sophisticated character than SI's 555.
