Can't believe it's been what - a month already? My how time flies. It's really been just a blur.
Today is my 5th day without cigs or as vappers prefer - analogs!!! Yippee!!
5 days, 5days, 5 days !!!!!!!
Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that I'd be smoke free. That I could go 5 days without a smoke and not kill somebody or be a raving lunatic ...... I don't think my husband believes it either.
It hasn't been easy. I have wanted a cig soooooo bad today. But it wasn't like a constant yearning. More like I got a little stressed and out of habit would light a smoke.
Still in the infant stage with vaping. Trying out different flavors, some cart mods, mixing, getting the right nic level. My 901's from HealthCabin don't seem to keep up with my vapping. Either the products are light weight or I'm really hard on the product. Have 3 batts charging, the passthrough is on it's last leg. I'm surprised my atty's are holding up. They tend to get hot when I'm vapping.
CHANGES:
1. Smell is getting better. Went to WallyWorld today and got a massive headache from all the different odors. The worst is the cosmetics and the laundry detergents.
2. Oh my, my tastebuds have returned with a vengance. So has my family's. They keep telling me how good everything tastes that I make. There is hardly any leftovers from dinner. I've noticed dear Hubby is packing on the pounds - but I think he's just getting into character to play Santa Claus again.
As for me, I need to get on the treadmill and start walking.
3. Still clearing out toxins from my body.
4. Still having problems sleeping at night. I have to break the cycle. During the day, I get fatigued.
5. Having some problems with thinking. I'm a lot more spacier. Having problems concentrating.
Medication interactions
Saw my Psych doc on Tuesday. She told me that if my nicotine levels went up, the effect would be like lowering the doseage of my medications, since nicotine would metabolise my medications faster. The nicotine and medications would be excreted via the urine.
Now, if my nicotine levels started coming down, then the doseage I'm on would seem like more. In a way, this is good, since I'm already at a very low dose of meds. If I can kick the nicotine, I maybe able to come off psych meds altogether.
Unfortunately, come March, the mental health care system will change yet again and I will be getting a new doctor and trying to learn the "new" system. The system we're going to is WebMd, teleconferencing via the internet. Talk about depersonalization. Every 3 months I'll talk to a webcam. Once a year, I get to see the doc face-to-face. She better leave my meds alone, that's all I gotta say.
So, that's it for now. It's 1:38 a.m. and
-10 below outside. I do believe winter is finally here.8-o8-o8-o
