My First 420Blog May Be My Last 420Post.

Hi all. 420Smiles here. Alot of you have no idea who I am in real life. My name is Jimmy......so it's nice to finally meet you all.

I decided to write this Blog as a way to clear my mind. Tonight has been a VERY stress filled night. Earlier in the day I got caught up in a thread I had been following involving Cass and PureSmoker. I'm sure everyone knows the threads that I am speaking of. Anyway.......a member by the name of "Vapor Trail" started a HUGE Flame War within the thread misconstrewing everything I said. Angered by his actions, I finally lashed back. I even notified Angus to let him know what I done.......Hear that,.....I told on myself!!!

I PM'd Cass and told her that I would no longer try to help the situation, and posted in the thread that I would no longer post in it because of the actions between V.T. and I. That sounded fair, I thought. After a little while, I looked at that thread again and noticed a Mod closed the thread because of what happened......but only mentioned me in his thread post, not Vapor Trail at all. This looked to me like the Mod was blaming me, so I popped off on the mod in a thread that I started. He gave me another warning, this one with no expire date.
The Warning can be seen on my VapersPlace account........He tells me to "shut my lip".....nice way for a Mod to talk to you, huh?
I have addressed Angus about several things I seen tonight.

Anyway.........
Like I said, This is most likely my last post. Not just here on ECF...but all vaping forums. It came to my attention that Vapor Trail has started a thread at ............com....telling his twisted tales to the ECF banned that frequent that place. How I got him in trouble and how 420Smiles is this and that. I can't take this!!! I tried my best to be an honest, informative, well mannered, friend to 99.9% of the people I've met here. It isn't enough. I am not cut out for this. I'm not sure that after I leave here and the other vaping forums, that I will ever talk to any of you people again...but I want you all to know, most of you will be thought of fondly. As will the couple of months I was here.......but I think my days here are numbered and I know my days at the other forums are done.

In closing, I want you all to know that it was a pleasure getting to know you. Vaping was, at first, one of the best things that ever happened to me, but has turned into something far worse than smoking. At least Smokers stick up for each other. If I do quit vaping and start smoking again, I'll see if CrashTestJeep will mail my supplies out to some of you.

    Yup I hear ya Jimmy. Same bull is happening to me in certain circles of the vaping community. Bit of a different spin on it. Former friends of mine turned out to be nothing more than two faced and talk trash about me. Accuse me of "hurting" the community, etc. If anything based on the feedback I get from the majority, they think my videos are informative and inspire others to make review videos, etc. Winning three auctions to help the cause, money out of my own pocket, along with donations, means jack to the few who have nothing better to do in life than to be internet jagoffs.

    Ever since the community "split", things took a turn for the worse and many of my so called "friends" actually turned out to be nothing more than trolls that stabbed me in the back. Nice group of people to be fighting for, eh? As I would say in my videos, "I don't think so."

    Yet, as you say, it's only the few rotten apples in the barrel that spoil it for the bunch. Like you, I am now sorry I found vaping. If I had known that I was to eat the level of bs that I had to, I would never have started vaping. I'm too am considering departing from the vaping community. Nu-Vapors is a decent forum to go, so I may pop in there from time to time. It is a shame that we all share a common goal, yet some in the same cause have no problems digging the knife into the backs of others who are fighting the same fight.

    Hey Buddy. This is my first post here in a few months, but I find it extremely appropriate to comment. 420smiles and BigJim are vaping community heroes and without the likes of you, we're just a bunch of punks rebelling against Big Tobacco and the FDA. That would have been great 5 yrs ago when I was younger, but now that I'm a grown up, I understand that this is a serious matter and we need to stand together and approach it as a serious matter. Of course we should have fun as well, but battling each other and playing king of the mountain is going to tear this industry apart and give the REAL OPPOSITION the upper hand. Everywhere on the interned, in every forum and every community, there are little trash-talkers who have that sense of security of living in they're mom's basement on the other side of the country and never have to see you face to face. In order to remain in this community, I just steer clear of them and make friends with fellow leaders like the two of you. If just the strong ones stick together, the weak will not stand a chance. Go from here, but stay in this community. We need you and no-matter what scumbags you run into, there will always be someone else to lean on. Stay strong and keep blowin' clouds!- The VapinSaint

    420 Smiles, I'm one that will sorely miss your comments and advice. I look for your post and follow them for honest opinions and good laughs at the right times. Plus enjoy seeing your specality mods. Maybe take a break if you need but hopefully keep in touch, I think you have a friends here.

    You will be missed if you leave. Just know that. I'm sorry that some people need to make a pissing contest out of everything, but they will be out there no matter what you do in life, Just know that you helped people, quit smoking, and make informed choices on PV products. That means a lot to a lot of people. Good luck in which ever way you go.

    In general, if you disagree with something a mod does, the best thing to do is start with a PM explaining your point of view. However, if you are new to forum life, you wouldn't necessarily know that.

    If you use this as an reason to go back to analogs, "they" win. After all, electronic cigarettes are not the ones who treated you badly. You took up vaping for yourself and PVs are your friends (even if not all members of the vaping community are.)

    I had noticed not seeing you but didn't know why. I still don't really as I don't know what happened in that thread. All I have to say is that I would be willing to bet you have more people who would like to see you stay than leave.

    I know I enjoyed and learned from your input and would like to see you posting again.

    So, to heck with others. It really doesn't matter what they say as they are only showing the type of person they really are.

    Anyway, I hope you start posting on a regular basis again and I also hope you are feeling better and better every day.
