It's been a while....

It's been a while since my last post and a lot has happened. I went to my first vape meet, got my first, and second, and third, and current mod. I progressed fro rebuilding protank coils to building gennies, learning on a gifted AGA T2 and then getting my first mod, a silver rainbow heaven elite noble 1 clone. I enjoyed the hybrid a lot for a couple of months and then discovered dripping and the more extreme side of sub-ohming, and extreme performance batteries. My first stand alone mech was a smoktech magneto V2 which was paired with my first dripper, an immortalizer clone which came wrapped at .5 ohms (beautifully wrapped I might add, for a factory job. The Elite was getting hardly any use as I was using the AGA on the Magneto when I felt like using a gennie, but I was dripping more and more and finally traded the elite to a friend wanting to try out a hybrid for a good trident clone and a couple of nice driptips. Three days later was an extreme lucky/unlucky day. I fell asleep on the commuter train I ride to work each morning and was barely waking and still in a mental fog when I heard my station announced. I hoped off the train with seconds to spare, reached for a vape, and was dismayed to find that my carabiner/clamp system that attached my magneto to my belt-loop had failed and I didn't have my magneto! In a panic I looked in the train window and saw my magneto lying in my seat waving goodbye as the doors closed and the train left the station. That was the unlucky part. I called the transit authorities lost and found and told them precisely what train, precisely what route, precisely what seat, and precisely the next station the train would pull in to. They said the conductor would check the train at the end of the line and call them back after 4:00 the next afternoon. I did as I was instructed and was informed it wasn't found! The lucky part of the day was that for some reason I had slapped a protank 2 on it that morning for some reason instead of one of my good drippers or my AGA. I did lose a nice finned elongated driptip though.

I didn't even have enough pieces to put together a working rig.

Knowing my predicament, the next day two good friends presented me with a chybrid, which with an ss rope wick, some good .8 mm kanthal ribbon, the airhole drilled to 1/16", and a good solid stainless driptip, makes a very good vape. I've since purchased a ikarus v 2.1 clone which is a great rig with a few minor tweaks (like any other clone) and am about to start shopping for a nice, inexpensive mech for dripping. I've also found a place called Illumination Supply that I would like to plug. They are a great 2 or 3 person shop with the batteries you really want at a price you can really afford. They specifically want to reach out to the vape community to grow their client base. For a nice little surprise use the discount code ISPower on any purchasing from them.:2cool:
