I just wanted to throw a shout out to Andy (Ajay) DeLuca at Venerable vaping. Andy and I originally came to know each other a bit shortly after the Rainbow Heaven Elite Hybrid came out. WE were both modding the switch assembly and deck/centerpost and were sort of following each other about it. I was immediately VERY interested in the Ikarus V2.1 clone when the info about it was available, any hesitations I had about giving it a shot evaporated when the first shop I heard of with them in stock was Venerable, Andy even put one back with my name on it because I was afraid they would sell out in the few days until I had the cash. I placed the order on a Friday nightand would have had it on Tuesday if USPS's actual delivery was true to the scheduled delivery day on the tracking page, as it was I had it Wednesday. Andy and I have spoken a few times sharing our mutual insight and it's a decent clone, a few minor idiosyncracies that had to be figured out with the switch, and I think I can seriously improve an only so-so voltage drop after I have time to troubleshoot/mod the switch and lower pin. It seems to be a 1:1 clone in every dimension I can measure....a tiny diffrence in the length between the tank supplied and the actual Ikarus 2.1 tank from Mike at Spectrum tanks but the tank is long above the top O-ring (and always covered by the integrated top cap/tank guard) anyways, so its an immaterial difference. My one not so favorite part is the teeny tiny deck, very cramped for an old clumsy fingered guy with bad eyesight to build a dual wick gennie on, but I would have then same issue with the real Ikarus, 1/16" SS cable sleeved with 2 mm ekowool with a dual 3/4 of 26G kanthal is really sweet, but I truly wish someone made a 15A plus 18350.
Anyway, the recommendation here is Andy and Venerable, not the Ikarus clone. You can't go wrong with Venerable. Always reasonable priced, always excellent service, always adds up to a little something extra.
